Stop writing posts. Start having conversations.

Julius HaukkasaloFounder, Outerview

I stopped writing my posts. My best one came from a seven-minute conversation.

I built Outerview because I couldn't make myself write.

I want to talk about handovers today.

We had a client last spring who lost two days of service. The code was fine. The person who knew how the system restarted had moved to another project, and nobody had written it down.

Since then we write the handover before anyone needs it. One page, in plain words, kept next to the code. It's the same idea we built Outer ViewOuterview on.

5 · Publish & measure

Published. Then measured.

Posts go straight to LinkedIn. Then you see who engaged, which of them fit your ideal customer, and what to say to them.

The outages I've worked on aren't technical. They start with a handover nobody wrote down.

What people ask first

Is this AI content?

It's your expert's content. Outerview asks the questions and writes from the answers. Anything the transcript doesn't back up is flagged before they see the draft, and nothing is published without their approval.

What if a team member ignores the request?

Outerview asks again, politely, in Slack or Discord. Microsoft Teams is coming soon. Twenty minutes of talking is easier than writing an email to say no.

Is it confidential?

Yes. Your account and content are stored in the EU. To write drafts we use OpenAI and Anthropic, under terms that never let them train ChatGPT or Claude on what your people say. Outerview only learns how your own team writes, and nothing is published without their approval.

Does this help us show up in Google and AI answers?

Yes, and it's one of the reasons to do it. Every interview gives you LinkedIn posts under your team's own names and an article on your own site, written to be found. LinkedIn is the second most-cited site in AI answers, and most of those citations are people's own posts.

We already have an employee advocacy tool.

Advocacy tools help people share the company's posts. Outerview helps each person say something of their own, so there's always something worth sharing.

Do we need to write anything?

No. Marketing picks the topic or approves a suggestion. The expert talks. Outerview does the rest.

What does it cost?

One interview a month is free, no card. Freelance is €99 a month for one person, Team €399 a month for five. Monthly, with no notice period.
