Terms of Service

Outerview ("the Service") is an AI-powered platform that conducts voice interviews and generates written content, including LinkedIn posts, based on those conversations. The Service is operated from Finland.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You agree to notify us immediately at info@outerview.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Generate content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its outputs commercially without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you create, provide, or generate using the Service. This includes your voice recordings, transcripts, and generated posts. You grant us a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Our service: The Service itself, including its design, code, AI prompts, interviewer personas, and branding, is owned by Outerview and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the right to use the Service as intended.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on your interviews. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unintended statements.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all content before publishing it anywhere.
• We do not guarantee that generated content is original, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• Publishing AI-generated content on LinkedIn or other platforms is subject to those platforms' terms of service. You are responsible for compliance.

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe.

• Billing: By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact info@outerview.app for refund requests.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.

All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including Finnish and EU law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU or Finnish law, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. In case of termination for cause, no refund will be provided for the remaining subscription period.

Sections 4 (Intellectual Property), 5 (AI-Generated Content), 7 (Limitation of Liability), and 9 (Governing Law) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland and applicable European Union regulations, including GDPR.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Finland, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to submit disputes to the Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
