What we shipped, and when.

Every release that changed something you can see. Newest first. Last updated 13 October 2026.

Write instead of talk

13 October 2026 The same interview now runs in writing, and you can turn down every suggested subject at once. InterviewsAccounts

New

  • Rather write than talk? Choose “I’d rather write” and the interview runs as a typed conversation, with the same questions and the same subjects as the call.
  • Links and files you add to the conversation are read and used in the interview.
  • “Dislike all, show more” on the subject cards brings a fresh set when none of them fit.
  • Scheduling: choose which week an every-two-weeks slot starts on, and set a monthly slot as a date or as “first Monday”.

Better

  • Interviews are named after their subjects as they open, so your list reads like a table of contents.
  • If you step away and come back, the interviewer welcomes you back instead of waiting in silence.
  • The catch-up at the start ends when you say so.
  • Outerview doesn’t ask for feedback until you’ve finished two interviews.

Fixed

  • Calendar invites keep their time in Gmail.
  • A published LinkedIn post is no longer cut short by certain characters.

The new interview

9 October 2026 The interview now shapes itself as you talk, and every language is on every plan. InterviewsPricingTeams

New

  • Interviews open with a mic check and a language choice, then the interviewer offers subjects from your ideas, starred ones first.
  • Say “next question” or “next subject”, or ask to talk about an idea of your own.
  • Up to three posts are written during the call for each subject you finish, and the call ends in the studio with them.
  • The new interview is a voice conversation, and the camera is optional. Interviews you started before can still be answered in writing.
  • A Posts page, with favourites.
  • English, Finnish and Swedish on every plan, Free included.
  • Reminders before your scheduled interview in Slack or Discord, for teams that have connected one.

Better

  • A lighter look, a new sign-in screen, and every screen fits a phone.
  • Team calls are labelled with the team’s name.
  • Outerview asks for feedback at most once a week.
  • Reminders replace the personal agent’s check-ins.

Fixed

  • Interviews you leave mid-call are kept.
  • Transcripts are stored in the order things were said.

Photos, and more than one team

2 October 2026 Add images to your posts from your own library, and belong to every team you work with. StudioTeams

New

  • A Photos library with folders, crop, rotate and enhance. Put an image on any LinkedIn post, or let Outerview pick one that fits.
  • Belong to several teams and switch between them from the menu.
  • Invites carry a role, and an owner can hand a team over.

Better

  • Team members can answer their interview link without signing in.
  • Calendar invites now arrive in Gmail and Outlook as real invitations.

Fixed

  • A failed team renewal could start a second subscription.

Write with Outerview beside the draft

30 September 2026 Posts open full screen with an editing assistant next to them, and you can publish or schedule to LinkedIn from there. Studio

New

  • A full-screen writing view with an assistant alongside. It has read the interview, and you approve or reject each change it suggests.
  • Publish to LinkedIn with a preview, or schedule it, from the same view. Every post says whether it’s published, scheduled or didn’t go out.
  • “Kept on purpose”: the habits of your writing that the anti-AI rules now leave alone.

Better

  • A long interview can give up to 15 post topics, and a post’s length follows how much you said about it.
  • A progress bar instead of cards jumping around while posts are written.

Fixed

  • Scheduled LinkedIn posts didn’t always go out, and could go out twice. A post that fails now tells you why.

Onboarding that ends with a plan

28 September 2026 Sign up with LinkedIn, talk for about fifteen minutes, and leave with your voice, your themes and a time for your next interview. AccountsInterviews

New

  • LinkedIn is the first question at sign-up, and it fills in the rest of the form.
  • Your own LinkedIn posts are read for your voice, so there’s nothing to paste.
  • Onboarding ends with a drafted plan and a recurring interview slot, not a single post.
  • You can redo your strategy by interview at any time.

Better

  • The onboarding call says up front that it takes about fifteen minutes, and asks eight questions. You can also skip it.
  • The industry picker and the “known for” question are gone.
  • Your themes show that they’re being built while you wait.

Fixed

  • The onboarding interview used up your free interview.
  • A colleague’s photo could end up as your avatar.

Svenska

26 September 2026 Interviews and posts now work in Swedish. InterviewsStudio

New

  • Swedish interviews.
  • Posts written in Swedish, with their own grammar and style rules, so they don’t read like a translation.

Ideas and themes, on their own pages

23 September 2026 Your plan's ideas now have a board, grouped by theme, that you can add to and act on. InterviewsTeams

New

  • An Ideas page for you, and one for your team. Add your own, star the ones you like, give a thumbs up or down.
  • A Themes page where you can start an interview on any idea, or say “Not for me”.
  • Team managers can add, reword, reorder and remove themes.
  • Every idea says why it’s there.

Better

  • Your plan shows only your current themes.
  • The “Refresh ideas” button and the Suggestions tab are gone. The board replaces them.

The team agent, in your DMs

10 September 2026 The agent now works entirely in direct messages, on Slack or Discord, and your company report lives in the app. Teams

New

  • The agent works on Discord as well as Slack. Each team picks one.
  • It offers three topics, each with the reason it chose it, as one-tap buttons, plus “Custom topic” and “Ignore”.
  • “Start now” puts a topic to every manager at once, and a team can name the one person the agent talks to.
  • Managers can edit the article the agent delivers.
  • Your company’s content report now lives in the app for managers. It opens on Overview once your content plan exists.

Better

  • No shared channel any more: everything happens in direct messages, and the Slack bot asks for fewer permissions.
  • A topic offered to someone else can be taken as your own article.
  • An article in progress opens where it is, and the last message says when the next one comes.
  • Interviews can be deleted straight from the list.

Fixed

  • A member who answered a link while signed in landed on a dead-end screen.

Teams, end to end

28 August 2026 An invite now carries someone all the way from the email to their first answered brief. TeamsInterviews

New

  • Someone who accepts an invite is asked who’s answering before anything gets set up, and the interview says whose it is.
  • A joiner who’d rather start with a brief can skip the onboarding voice interview.
  • Rate any post the moment the studio writes it, not just after an interview.

Better

  • Accepting an invite shows up straight away, without a hard refresh, and lands the new member on Start instead of Notifications.
  • Team setup is one screen you can leave and come back to.
  • A team’s licence reads at a glance instead of as a line of prose.

Fixed

  • Calendar invites arrived three hours off for anyone outside UTC.
  • The interviewer read stage directions out loud.
  • Refining a post handed back raw markdown.
  • Logging in while already logged in bounced you through an error instead of into the app.

The interview you didn't finish

26 August 2026 Interviews you walked away from now have a home, and you can run onboarding again whenever you like. Interviews

New

  • Unfinished interviews have their own place, with what’s left of them shown where you’d decide whether to spend it.
  • Redo your background interview from your profile, and the redo runs the current interview for everyone, not only newer accounts.

Better

  • Onboarding can no longer render an empty screen with no way out, and nobody gets sent to a lobby that can’t prepare their interview.
  • A “Waiting on you” card can be archived off your Start page.

Answer a brief in writing

18 August 2026 Not everyone wants to talk on the day you ask them. Now they can type instead. Teams

New

  • A visitor can answer in writing rather than out loud.
  • What’s waiting on you sits under the start box, and the two nav entries that can be waiting carry a count.
  • A team can be handed to a new owner, or deleted, including one nobody owns.

Better

  • It’s called Notifications everywhere now, with the count hanging over the name.
  • The whole idea card is the way into the reason behind it.
  • A team’s plan is something you can answer today instead of a question about next quarter.

Fixed

  • Managed teams were told an invite would cost them money. It doesn’t.

The whole Content, in the studio

4 August 2026 A team brief opens as one piece of work instead of a pile of separate interviews. TeamsStudio

New

  • Open a whole Content in the studio rather than one interview at a time.
  • Teams get their own Interviews list, so a Content stays about its subject.
  • Read any transcript in a panel, from either screen.

Better

  • Progress on a brief shows as the people who’ve answered, not a bar.
  • Starting a Content is the team’s home screen.

One interviewer, and a way to type

31 July 2026 There's one interviewer now, and the interview doesn't have to be a call at all. Interviews

New

  • Written interviews, as an alternative to the voice call.

Better

  • One interviewer instead of a cast, with the depth the others were splitting between them.
  • The interview list refreshes itself when a call ends.

A free tier, and no more waitlist

30 July 2026 One interview a month, free, and a pricing page that says what the rest costs. PricingTeams

New

  • A free tier: one interview a month, no card.
  • A pricing page, with the plans reworked around it.
  • Magic links for visitors, someone outside the company can be interviewed without an account.
  • A long-form artifact produced from all of a Content’s interviews.

Better

  • The waitlist is retired. Every button on this site now goes straight into the app.
  • Seats count the people on the team, not the visitors you invite to speak.

Video Creator, included

2 July 2026 Clips stopped being a plan of their own and became part of Basic and Pro. VideoPricing

New

  • Video Creator is in Basic and Pro. The standalone video plan is gone.
  • Preview and download the recording from the transcript panel.
  • Post and Video Creator have their own URLs, so you can link someone to the tab you mean.

Better

  • The recording streams to the server during the interview instead of waiting in the browser until the end.
  • Video Creator is labelled Beta where you meet it, the studio tab and the pre-join toggle.

Fixed

  • Captions are always burned into a clip set.
  • The mobile join screen laid out properly, with topics as an accordion.

Teams

10 June 2026 One brief, answered by everyone on the team, each in their own voice. Teams

New

  • Teams: an account switcher, team management, invites and team billing on one invoice.
  • Desk, team campaigns with a shared brief and a separate interview per member.
  • Questions generated from the team’s own website and context, not from a template.
  • Member removal, renaming, and a nav entry for invites still pending.

Fixed

  • Someone already on another team can’t be invited into a second one.
  • The call reconnects on its own when the connection drops mid-interview.

The mic, before the call

25 May 2026 You find out the wrong microphone is selected before the interview starts, not during it. Interviews

New

  • A mic check on the pre-join screen, reading the real audio level rather than latching green once.
  • Pick your microphone in the call, and switch it mid-interview without breaking playback.
  • A System Default option in every mic selector.

Better

  • Plugging in or unplugging a device updates the list while you’re looking at it.

Outerview reads up on you first

11 May 2026 The interview starts knowing who you are, so the first five minutes aren't spent explaining it. Interviews

New

  • Research from four parallel sources, synthesised into a profile before the call, and split into what you’re doing now versus where you came from.

Better

  • Registration is three steps instead of four.
  • The interviewer asks about your background before diving into the topic.
  • Topic suggestions come from your themes crossed with your background, capped at ten words each, with no consultant language.

Fixed

  • Finnish interviews produced Finnish posts.
  • The topic picker stopped reloading itself in a loop.

Passwords, and a caption designer

10 April 2026 A way back into your account if you lose the password, and control over how clips are captioned. AccountsVideo

New

  • A forgot-password flow with an emailed reset link.
  • Change your password from inside the app.
  • Set a password on an account that only ever had Google sign-in.
  • A Caption Designer for video clips.

Fixed

  • The live call controls fit on a phone.
  • An interview with no post insights spun forever instead of saying so.
