Social selling for B2B teams

Your posts are finding buyers. You just can't see them.

Outerview shows every person who reacted to or commented on your team's LinkedIn posts, the company they're from, and which ones fit your ideal customer. Then it writes the first message.

A reaction is a raised hand. Most companies never look.

The Head of Operations who commented on Tuesday. The CFO who liked two posts this month. They told you they're interested, in public, with their name on it. LinkedIn shows them as a notification and forgets them. Outerview turns them into a list your sales team can work.

From a like to a conversation in four steps.

  1. Your team posts

Written with Outerview from twenty-minute interviews, or by hand. Either way, every post is tracked.

  2. We see who engaged

Every reaction and every comment, with the person's name, role and company. Your posts and your whole team's.

  3. Scored against your ICP

Strong fit, possible, or not a fit, each with a one-line reason. The buyers float to the top; the noise sinks.

  4. The first message, drafted

Written from what they actually reacted to, in the voice of the person whose post it was. Edit, send, done.

See which companies keep coming back.

One person's likes are a signal. Seven people from the same company engaging with three of your experts is a buying committee doing its homework. The team view adds it up across everyone you publish, so you see the accounts warming up before they ever fill in a form.

  • Every account, ranked. Who engages most, with whom, and how recently.
  • Your people, side by side. Whose posts reach your buyers, and whose don't yet.
  • Against your competitors. Your firm's LinkedIn presence next to the companies you lose deals to.

Agencies sell this as a project. It's built into Outerview.

Companies pay agencies to configure engagement tracking for them, and then still need someone to write the posts that create the engagement. Outerview does both: the posts, and the list of who they reached.

What people ask first

Where does the data come from?

From the public reactions and comments on your own LinkedIn posts and your team's: the same people LinkedIn already shows you one notification at a time, put in one list with their company and role.

Do I have to write my posts with Outerview?

No. Outerview tracks the posts you publish however you wrote them. But engagement needs posts, and the interviews are how busy experts end up posting every week instead of twice a year.

How does it know who fits my ICP?

You describe your ideal customer once: the roles, company sizes and industries you sell to. Every person who engages is scored against it, with a short reason you can check, so you are never trusting a black box.

Does it send messages for me?

No. It drafts the first message and you send it, from your own account. Social selling works because a real person reaches out. Automating that part is how it stops working.

Can it go into our CRM?

That's the plan: a lead, its company and the post they engaged with, pushed to HubSpot, Pipedrive or Salesforce with one click, so sales sees the warm ones without opening another tool.

Is it GDPR-compliant?

It only looks at public engagement on your own posts, your data is stored in the EU, anyone can be put on a do-not-contact list, and engagement data expires on a fixed schedule rather than being kept forever.

Somebody from your best-fit account liked a post this week.
